Repetitive data entry
Copying the same customer, order or job details between systems takes hours every week and introduces typos that surface later as billing and reporting errors.
Custom business automation & software integration
Modern Streamline builds custom workflow automation, CRM integrations, spreadsheet applications and AI-assisted processes that remove repetitive work and keep your business tools in sync — so leads get followed up, data stays accurate and your team spends its time on work that matters.
The problem
Most growing businesses run on a mix of a CRM, spreadsheets, email, forms, calendars and accounting software. When those systems do not talk to each other, people become the integration — and that costs time, accuracy and revenue.
Copying the same customer, order or job details between systems takes hours every week and introduces typos that surface later as billing and reporting errors.
Your CRM, spreadsheets and booking tools each hold a different version of the truth, so nobody is fully sure which record is current.
A new inquiry lands in an inbox at 9 p.m. and is answered two days later. Without an automatic hand-off, good leads cool off before anyone responds.
A Zap stopped running, a webhook changed, a script hit a quota — and nobody noticed until a customer complained or a report came up short.
Weekly reports are rebuilt from exports and pasted formulas, which means decisions are made on numbers that are already out of date.
A workbook that started as a simple tracker now runs part of the business, but it is fragile, slow and understood by only one person.
What we do
We start from the business process, then choose the platform that fits it — a no-code tool where that is enough, and custom code where it is not.
Pipelines, contact management, appointment booking and follow-up workflows configured to match how your team actually sells.
Example: route web leads into the right pipeline stage and notify the assigned rep.
GoHighLevel servicesSelf-hosted or cloud n8n workflows with API calls, webhooks, data transformation and proper error handling.
Example: sync new orders to a database and post exceptions to Slack.
n8n servicesReliable scenarios and Zaps for the apps you already pay for, including filters, paths, formatting and failure alerts.
Example: create invoices from signed proposals without re-typing line items.
Make & Zapier servicesCustom menus, triggers, document generation and Google Workspace automation that turn a spreadsheet into a working tool.
Example: generate a PDF quote from a row and email it to the client.
Apps Script servicesMacros, user forms and workbook applications for teams that run critical processes in Excel.
Example: consolidate 20 branch files into one validated weekly report.
Excel VBA servicesPractical AI steps inside real workflows — classifying inquiries, summarizing notes and drafting responses for human review.
Example: tag incoming support emails by topic and urgency.
AI automation servicesDirect connections between applications with authentication, data mapping, validation, logging and retries.
Example: push payments from a POS system into your accounting records.
API integration servicesDiagnosis and repair of broken workflows, failing scripts and data that no longer syncs between systems.
Example: find why a workflow silently stopped creating contacts.
Troubleshooting servicesHow we work
Every engagement is scoped in writing before development starts, so you know what will be built, how it will be tested and what you will receive at handover.
We learn how the work happens today: which applications are involved, who touches the data, where things break and what a good result looks like.
We map the trigger, data flow, decision points and failure handling, and agree on the platform and scope before anything is built.
We build in a test environment or with test records wherever possible, using the credentials and access you approve.
We run normal cases, edge cases and failure cases — missing fields, duplicates, expired tokens — and share what was tested.
We move the workflow into production with you, confirm it runs with live data and document how it works.
After launch, we can monitor, adjust and extend the system under a support arrangement agreed separately.
See it in action
In many businesses the honest answer is “it depends who checks the inbox.” An automated lead workflow makes the answer the same every time.
In this demonstration, a website inquiry is validated, matched against existing CRM contacts to avoid duplicates, placed in the correct pipeline stage, announced to the business owner and enrolled in a follow-up sequence that stops as soon as the lead replies or books a call.
The same pattern works in GoHighLevel, HubSpot, Pipedrive or a custom database, using native CRM automation, n8n, Make, Zapier or a direct API integration depending on your stack.

Industry solutions
The platforms are similar across industries. The workflows are not. We design automation around the way your customers buy and the way your team delivers.
Client onboarding, lead routing for client accounts, GoHighLevel snapshots and automated reporting across many sub-accounts.
Agency workflowsSpeed-to-lead for quote requests, job scheduling, dispatch notifications, review requests and estimate follow-up.
Home service workflowsOrder, inventory and fulfillment data moving between your store, spreadsheets, accounting and customer messaging.
E-commerce workflowsIntake forms, document generation, client portals, appointment reminders and billing hand-offs for firms that sell expertise.
Professional service workflowsApproval flows, internal requests, inventory trackers and management dashboards that replace email chains and manual consolidation.

We are documenting selected client work as detailed case studies, published only with client permission and without confidential data.
Whatever the size of the project, you receive more than a working workflow. You receive a system your team can understand, check and maintain.

Modern Streamline is a founder-led automation practice. When you work with us, you work directly with the person designing and building your system.
Muhammad Bilal Alvi builds business automation across Google Sheets and Google Apps Script, Excel VBA, GoHighLevel, n8n, Make and Zapier, along with custom API integrations. His work includes spreadsheet applications, interactive HTML tools, document automation, and workflows connecting Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Drive, Twilio, RingCentral, Tookan and Square.
The focus is always the same: understand the business process first, then build the simplest reliable system that solves it.
More about Modern StreamlineFAQ
Usually, yes. Most modern business applications offer an API, webhooks, or a native connector in n8n, Make or Zapier. During discovery we confirm what each application actually supports — including plan limits and API permissions — before recommending an approach.
It depends on volume, complexity, budget and who will maintain it. No-code platforms are faster to change; custom code can be cheaper at high volume and handles logic those tools struggle with. We explain the trade-offs and recommend one option with reasons.
After an initial conversation, we describe the workflow, the applications involved, what is included and what is not, and how it will be tested. Pricing is agreed before development begins. Small fixes can be scoped quickly; larger systems are usually split into phases.
Yes. Troubleshooting existing workflows is a core service. We review the run history and logs, reproduce the problem with test data, identify the cause and explain the fix — and whether the workflow needs a deeper rebuild.
We ask for the minimum access needed, preferably through user invitations or dedicated API credentials rather than shared passwords. Credentials are never requested through chat or email, and we recommend backups and test records before changes to production systems.
Yes. Modern Streamline works remotely with clients in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia and elsewhere. Consultations are scheduled in your time zone.
You receive handover notes explaining how the system works. Ongoing monitoring, changes and support can be arranged separately so that expectations are clear on both sides.
Describe the applications you use, what the workflow should do and what is happening instead. We will review it and suggest a practical next step.
